SERVING GRAVENHURST

Gravenhurst has been home for more than 35 years. It’s where I built a business, raised my family, formed lifelong friendships and had the opportunity to serve this community in many different ways.

For 32 years, I owned and operated both Gravenhurst Tim Hortons locations. During that time, I employed generations of local residents and supported local schools, charities and sports teams.

PUTTING EXPERIENCE TO WORK

I served three terms on Gravenhurst Council, including your Deputy Mayor. I was with the Gravenhurst Fire Department as a firefighter, Captain and Training Officer.

I currently serve on the Board for the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation and have served on the boards of Gravenhurst Hydro, Gravenhurst Chamber of Commerce, Muskoka Tourism, Windermere Golf Club and Muskoka Bay Club.

I’ve been fortunate to contribute to many organizations, decisions and community efforts that have helped shape Gravenhurst.

Each experience has strengthened my understanding of this community.

LISTEN FIRST
Good decisions start with truly understanding the people they affect. I’ll be accessible, listen carefully and make sure residents have meaningful opportunities to share their views and know their feedback has been considered.

STRENGTHEN MUNICIPAL SERVICES

Residents depend on roads, parks, facilities and municipal services every day. I’ll focus on maintaining what we have, improving how services are delivered and making sure the basics are done well.

REPRESENT TAXPAYERS AND SUPPORT BUSINESSES

Every dollar the Town spends comes from the people it serves. I’ll support careful budgeting, practical choices and long-term planning that delivers real value. I’ll work closely with our business community, listen, and help address challenges and barriers.

TAKE CARE OF WHAT WE HAVE.

Our community has worked hard to build the roads, parks, facilities and infrastructure we rely on. I’ll focus on listening to residents, keeping these assets well maintained and making sure they continue to work properly, serve the community well and provide lasting value.
